The minimum age for registration for this programme is 18. Prospective students should note that the following entrance qualifications are recommended for those wishing to undertake this programme:

NQF Level 6
Entry Requirements:
- 1.Two GCE 'A' levels (or equivalents)
- 2.Five GCSEs at grades A, B or C (or equivalents)
- 3.A suitable BTEC National Award
- 4.Any qualification equivalent to one of the above.
- 5. IELTS 5.5 Bands (or equivalents)
Applicants over the age of 21 who do not hold one of the recommended entrance qualifications may also register for the programme providing they have been in full-time employment for a minimum of two years.

| Suitable for those with previous IT experience, this Advanced Diploma has a strong professional element, focusing on analytical and business skills. After completing this course the students will have a sound knowledge and understanding of the established principles of computer systems development and management and the process in which these principles have developed. They will gain all abilities required to apply their skills and aptitudes to the analysis, design, implementation and management of computer systems to solve business and organisational problems within an agreed timescale / agreed cost estimates. This qualification will help students develop a set of advanced problem-solving and analytical skills which can be applied in the pursuit of a wide range of occupations or the pathway to a degree. |
