ACCA Professional Scheme Duration: 36 Months Fees: £5950 Students are advised to read this section carefully, as they will be able to find the answer to most of their questions. This is a course that requires a serious and extensive study pattern. We make every effort to help students in the pursuit of academic excellence. Enrolment Dates at the College There are four intakes every year these are in January, April, July, and October. Course Duration ACCA is essentially a three year course however keeping in view the professional nature of the examinations it may take a candidate up to 3-4 years in order to complete the course successfully. Practical Implications ACCA is a world-renowned qualification. The global market has been extremely buoyant for qualified accountants in recent times. Successful candidates have a higher tendency to implement their acquired skills both in industry and in practice. After the successful completion of the ACCA course the candidates will need a minimum of three years work experience in the relevant field. This will enable them to operate as registered auditors and practicing accountants. Course Structure FUNDAMENTALS (nine papers in total) SKILLS PROFESSIONAL (Essentials) Registration Procedure ACCA is a professional body and is recognized globally. The membership with the ACCA can be obtained by registering online. The website address is www.accaglobal.com. The initial registration is completed online, and a copy of declaration is to be sent to the ACCA along with your transcripts, Passport size photograph, copies of the relevant pages of the passport and the registration fee. Any one aged 21 or over can register with ACCA as a mature student. Entry Requirements At least 2 levels Exemptions Exemption procedure is entirely at the discretion of the Association and LCC has no part in the above. It is strongly recommended that the students apply for exemptions at the time of registering with ACCA. ACCA Registration Dates In order to appear in the paper-based examinations with ACCA the registration deadlines must be met at all times. Please note that in order to sit the June examinations the student must apply for registration before 31st December of the previous year and to sit for exams in December the registration deadline is 31st August same year. However, students opting for CBE (computer based examination) do not need to follow the above deadlines, please remember CBE option currently applies to papers F1, F2 and F3 Part-Time Courses (Day release / Evenings) Note: Part-time courses are not available for the students who are required to attend a minimum of 15-20 hours per week at the college. |
