The minimum age for registration for this programme is 18.
Applicants must have obtained one of the following:
- 1. ABE Certificate
- 2. Two "A" Level passes plus four GCSE passes at Grade A, B or C, two of which must be English and Math’s
- 3. Overseas qualifications which may be accepted by the Registrar as being equivalent to the above
- 4. ABE also welcomes applications from candidates without formal qualifications who have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employer(s) must accompany such applications
- 5. Any qualification equivalent to one of the above.
- 6. IELTS 5.5 Bands (or equivalents)

The prime aim of this qualification is to provide non-marketing individuals, or those with practical marketing experience, with a sound understanding of the fundamentals of effective marketing management at the operational level. The programme provides a route into the professional marketing world. It is an academically challenging and strategically relevant diploma in marketing study, with a particular emphasis on entrepreneurship. The programme is distinctive in exploring leading edge in the practical application of marketing and entrepreneurship. It addresses the strategic imperative that companies must become more focused on the possibilities that emerge through entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking.
