The minimum age for registration for this programme is 18.
Applicants must have obtained one of the following:
- 1. ABE Certificate
- 2. Two "A" Level passes plus four GCSE passes at Grade A, B or C, two of which must be English and Math’s
- 3. Overseas qualifications which may be accepted by the Registrar as being equivalent to the above
- 4. ABE also welcomes applications from candidates without formal qualifications who have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employer(s) must accompany such applications
- 5. Any qualification equivalent to one of the above.
- 6. IELTS 5.5 Bands (or equivalents)

This is a newly introduced internationally recognised QCA accredited qualification from ABE designed to make non-financial students financially literate. It is designed to enable them to become fluent in terminology and concepts of accounting and finance and to equip them in extracting, analysing and interpreting financial data in decision making. The aim of this course is to enable the students to provide effective assurance and advice to all levels of management on strategic and operational financial issues.
