LCM Higher Diploma / Equivalent qualifications subject to approval from LCM
Entry Requirements:
- 1. Two GCE 'A' levels (or equivalents)
- 2. Five GCSEs at grades A, B or C (or equivalents)
- 3. A suitable BTEC National Award
- 4. Any qualification equivalent to one of the above.
- 6. IELTS 5.5 Bands (or equivalents)

Candidates must attempt a minimum of four modules in total. Three modules are mandatory and the candidate must complete at least one of the two optional modules successfully before the Award can be issued.
Assessment:
3 hours exam (Assessment is set and marked by LCM)

| The aim of this module is to develop candidates' understanding of public relations theory and practice, including public relations campaign planning, implementation and evaluation as well as investigating the theory and practice of corporate communications, its roles, its evolution and development, and the tools and techniques used to develop effective communication programme. Candidates will gain an in-depth knowledge of all aspect of events and will learn to apply strategies and tactics to plan, deliver, manage, and evaluate events for a range of purpose and for a variety of organisations. Students will also acquire a detailed understanding of the laws regulating the conduct of marketing, business, and business organisations. Services have unique marketing characteristics which must be considered and evaluated if the organisation is to succeed in achieving objectives and meeting its customers’ needs and expectations. |
